IV Pole Malfunction
1. Raise the IV pole. The IV pole (A) retains its higher position and releases
when the IV pole release (B) is pulled downward (see figure 2-2 on page
2-19).

3. Another part of the CarePorter™ Cart or an accessory interferes with the
vertical function of the IV pole.

Inspect the IV pole release for damage. If necessary, replace the
defective IV pole/arm assembly (refer to procedure 4.16). If this
solves the problem, go to “Final Actions” on page 2-5.

4. Take appropriate actions to eliminate the interference. This solves the
problem
