4. Put the CarePorter™ Cart into the brake position. The brake pedal seats in

5. Connect the CarePorter™ Cart to the bed or stretcher by following these
steps:
a. Adjust the power equipment shelf to the designated height for the type
of bed or stretcher to be coupled to, as indicated by the label on the
front panel of the CarePorter™ Cart.
b. Adjust the bed or stretcher to the proper height for coupling to the
CarePorter™ Cart.
c. Push the CarePorter™ Cart and bed or stretcher together. The latches
and pins engage and automatically couple.
