4.12 Gas Spring

6. Remove the gas spring assembly (B) from the base weldment (D).
Replacement
1. Insert the ball stud (C) into one end of the new gas spring assembly (B),
and apply pressure to the gas spring assembly (B) until the ball stud (C)
snaps into the clip (A).
2. Repeat step 1 to install the other end of the gas spring assembly (B) onto
the ball stud (C) located on the base weldment.
3. Ensure both ends of the gas spring assembly (B) are attached properly to
the ball studs (C).
4. Test the gas spring assembly for proper operation.
Adjustment
No adjustment is required for the gas spring assembly (B).
