1.3 – RocketRAID 3522 Adapter layout

Port1, Port2

These represent the RocketRAID 3522’s two External Mini-SAS ports.  Each port can

support up to 4 hard disks.

J1 - SAF-TE connector

BEEP1 – Speaker

Alarm (speaker):  the speaker emits and audible alarm in the case of disk/array failure.

J8 (BBU connector)

Connector for battery backup unit (optional part).
