5. Humidity control
If floor dryers are used to increase evaporation in a building, the relative humidity in the room is
increased. To reduce air humidity, use the floor dryer in combination with a HEYLO/DriEaz
dehumidifier. To avoid moisture damage and mold formation, the relative air humidity in the rooms
should be kept below 60 %.
6. Operation
Connect the unit to the grounded Schuko socket.
Position the unit above the floor area to be dried.
Switch the unit on using the ON/OFF switch.
Verify proper operation before you leave the unit unattended. For safety reasons, do not move or
carry the floor dryer during operation.
As soon as the area is dry, move the unit to the next area.
Please always switch the fan off prior to moving it to a different location.
7. Maintenance/repair
Caution:
Always disconnect the power plug prior to maintenance and repair work.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM INSPECTION: Check the power cord for damage on a regular base. Remove
the housing on a regular base and check the internal wiring for non-insulated conductors, loose
attachments and discolorations. Remove and repair damaged cables as needed.
CLEAN GRILLE: Remove dust and other contaminations from the protective grille on a regular base.
CLEAN HOUSING: Clean the housing using a mild cleaning agent and water. Restore the original
shine using vinyl cleaner and polisher, e.g. for plastic materials in vehicles.
INSPECTION OF THE OUTSIDE: Inspect outer components and make sure that they are properly
installed. Pay attention to unusual noise. Repair or replace components as needed.
CLEAN COMPONENTS: Remove lint and dust from fan blade, motor, and protective grille using a
vacuum cleaner or compressed air.
KEEP MOTOR AND WIRING DRY: To ensure that no electrical components are damaged, the floor
dryer may not be cleaned using a water hose or a pressure washer. In the case that electrical
components become wet, they must be immediately dried.
MOTOR BEARING: The bearings of the FD 360° are lifetime-lubricated. Do not oil.
