The following are common issues observed in Instant APs managed by AirWave:

The following procedure describes how to troubleshoot issues, if the AP fails to connect to AirWave:

Check if the AP is Connected to AirWave

Ensure that the AP is Added to a Device Group

Check the Authentication Settings for Instant APs in AirWave
Check AirWave Credentials
Ensure that the AirWave credentials — Organization String, Shared Key, and the IP address of the AirWave
server are entered correctly on the AP.
Check if the AP is Connected to AirWave
Run the
show ap debug airwave
command in the CLI of the AP to view details of AirWave server. Check
the
Status
column to identify the state of AirWave connection.

The AP is successfully connected to AirWave.
