The start of the runtime timer can only be set if the ‘Dual
time mode’ function is activated

To set the runtime timer, proceed as follows:
1. Press the
[TIME] key until ‘Timing begins at Start’ / ‘Timing begins at
Speed’ is displayed.
2. With the
[adjusting knob], set ‘Timing begins at Start’ / ‘Timing begins
at Speed’.
‘Timing begins at Start’
The runtime timer begins immediately after
the centrifugation run starts.
‘Timing begins at
Speed’
The runtime only begins counting after
reaching the set speed.
If ‘Timing begins at Speed’ is set, this is indicated
with the
,
symbol to the left next to the time on the
display.
3. To accept the settings, press the
[START] key.
NOTICE
Dual centrifugation rotors must not be operated in the con-
tinuous run.
During the continuous run, the device runs with the set
parameters until the [STOP/OPEN] key is pressed.
During the centrifugation run, the rotor speed or the RCF
value, the temperature in the centrifuge chamber and the
elapsed time are displayed.
In order to operate the device in a continuous run, proceed as follows:
1. Set the runtime

‘Runtime (t/hms)’ on page 52 (hour, minute and
second) to ‘0’.
2. To accept the settings, press the [START] key or the [TIME] key, until
the centrifugation parameters are displayed.
3. Save the program
