IN-OUT PANEL
It selects the signal to be sent to the amplifier power outputs.
• Full
: The built-in crossover is off; there is a full range signal in the outputs.
• Lo-12dB
: The built-in crossover will supply the outputs with a 12dB/Oct. Lo-Pass signal lower than the cut-off frequency set by
X-OVER 12dB
adjuster.
• Lo-24dB/Hi-12dB
: The built-in crossover will supply the outputs with a 24dB/Oct. mono Lo-Pass signal (mix: L + R) or with a
12dB/Oct. Hi-Pass signal, according to
PRE OUT MODE
adjuster position. If this adjuster is on
Lo-24dB
, power outputs will be
provided with a 12dB/Oct. Hi-Pass signal; if
PRE OUT MODE
adjuster is on
Hi-12dB
, power outputs will be provided with a
24dB/Oct. mono Lo-Pass signal.
PRE OUT MODE: LO-24dB POWER OUTPUTS: 12dB/Oct. Hi-Pass
PRE OUT MODE: HI-12dB POWER OUTPUTS: 24dB/Oct. mono Lo-Pass

AMPLI MODE
Amplifier left (
L
) and right (
R
) channels high level inputs. If the source (head unit, CD player, DAT, etc.) doesn’t have the special
preamplified output, connect its power outputs (HI POWER) to these inputs through the proper connector given with the amplifier.
H230
can be configured as Booster through the use of these two inputs.
You can use only one input or both to connect the amplifier channels in
mono
. Either the wires for one of the two channels or for
them both will have to be connected to the given connector (see "HI-IN input connection", page 30).
6
HI-IN
Amplifier left (
L
) and right (
R
) channels preamplified inputs. The preamplified outputs (PRE OUT) of a source (head unit, CD player,
DAT, etc.) or of an external electronic crossover must be connected to them. You can use only one input or both to connect the
amplifier channels in
mono
.
7
PRE IN
It selects the signal to be sent to the amplifier preamplified outputs (
PRE OUT
).
• Hi-12dB
: The built-in crossover will supply preamplified outputs with a 12dB/Oct. Hi-Pass signal higher than the cut-off
frequency set by
X-OVER 12dB
adjuster.
• Lo-24dB
: The built-in crossover will supply preamplified outputs with a 24dB/Oct. mono Lo-Pass signal (mix: L + R) that is
lower than the cut-off frequency set by
LO-PASS 24dB
adjuster and that is suitable to drive a mono subwoofer.
8
PRE OUT MODE
Amplifier left (
L
) and right (
R
) channels preamplified outputs. Signal cables for the preamplified inputs of another power amplifier
must be connected to them. The built-in crossover will supply these outputs with a Hi-Pass or a Lo-Pass mono signal, selected
through
PRE OUT MODE
adjuster. If the latter is on
Lo-24dB mono
, you can use one of the two outputs or both.

Il indique l’allumage de l’amplificateur.
1
ON (voyant lumineux vert)
2
SAFETY (voyant lumineux rouge)
HI-PASS
et
LO-PASS 12 dB/Oct.
dans l’intervalle compris entre 40 et 150 Hz.
