Intended use
Div erter v alve for the installation of two or more saf ety valves in a possible combination with bursting discs
f or protecting gas storage tanks. The requirements of the pressure equipment directive for redundant or
dif f erent types of safety devices are f ulfilled with this diverter valve and in combination with safety valves
with the same setting pressure. Additional connections are av ailable on each side for suitable means of
testing.
In the case of serv icing the safety valves or replacement of the bursting discs, the side to be serviced is
isolated f rom the tank.
In the end position one outlet is open and the other is closed. It is not possible to shut off both outlets at
the same time.
