6 . PRODUCT RECYCLING
Your appliance is packed in plastic and a card-
board box on a wooden pallet. You can use card-
board and wood as fuel for the first few ignitions
of the appliance or take it to a local recycling
point.
The plastic that protects the appliance should be
taken to a specific local recycling point or centre,
not disposed of in conventional waste containers.
All local regulations, including those referring to
national or European standards, must be com-
plied with when the product is to be recycled at
end-of-life. The product should never be dis-
posed of in conventional waste containers.
Your appliance consists of components made of
cast iron, steel, glass, insulating materials and
electrical material, which are assembled with
screws and rivets. You can dismantle it and take
it to a specific local recycling point or centre.
Glass should not be disposed of in conventional
waste containers.
