4.3. Driver installation for Windows 2000
Windows 2000 uses default drivers for your monitor. You must therefore replace these standard
drivers with Hercules drivers.
- Click on Start/Settings/Control Panel .
- Double-click on the System icon.
- Select the Hardware tab.
- Click on Device Manager... .
- Click on the + sign to the left of Monitors .
- Double-click on Plug and Play Monitor .
- Select the Driver tab.
- Click on Update Driver... .
- Click on Next .
The wizard will suggest a Search for a suitable driver for my
device (recommended) .
- Click on Next .
The wizard will then prompt you to designate an optional
search location.
- Enable the CD-ROM drives option.
- Insert the installation CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
If the Prophetview 920 Pro installation menu
appears:
- Close it by clicking on .
- Click on Next .
Windows will then specify the path and name of the folder where the drivers are located.
- Click on Next to continue the driver installation.
The Digital Signature Not Found dialog box appears.
- Click on Yes .
- Click on Finish to complete the setup.
