This document is intended as a guide to assist with the recommissioning process for the Hydrim C61 
Washer-Disinfector following a period of hibernation. 

 

We recommend that the following steps be performed at the earliest opportunity, to allow sufficient 
time to address any unexpected issues that may arise.  

Estimated Duration: 1 hours 
 

Ensure that appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is used 
 

1.  Remove, check and clean the coarse and fine filters in the Pump Pit 

 

2.  Check the Salt levels and replenish as necessary. Ensure is loose and not clumped together. 

Use caution if breaking the Salt apart 
 

3.  Check the upper and lower Wash Arms for debris. Check for free rotation 

 

4.  Check the Load Carrier for evidence of wear or damage. Check the Runners move freely over 

their intended full range of movement. 
 

5.  Check Door Seal for debris. Check for evidence of wear or damage 

 

6.  Check the process agent. Replenish as necessary 

 

7.  Check USB data logger is present and icon is displayed with a green tick 

 

8.  Turn the mains water supply ON 

 

9.  Turn the power to the unit ON 

 

10. Check the date and time is correct. Adjust as necessary 

 

11. Perform any additional pre cycle checks/tests 

 

12. Run a test cycle 

 

13. Perform any post cycle checks/tests. These checks/tests should also include; 

 

a.  Cleaning Efficacy test 
b.  Residual Protein test 
 

14. Remove the USB and confirm that cycle data has transferred successfully 

 

15  On successful completion of all tests, the equipment can be used 

 
Every 750 drying cycles or when the message “Replace air filter” appears, the air filter will 
require replacing (see Annex A)
