1 Introduction
1.1 About this manual
This manual contains information that the service technicians need
for the professional maintenance of the unit. The service technician
must also heed the contents of the service instructions, installation
instructions, and operating instructions.
Target group The target group for this manual is trained qualified personnel
entrusted with the technical functioning and operation of the unit.
Figures All figures in this manual are intended as examples. Discrepancies
can arise between this and the actual unit.
1.2 General information
The purpose of maintenance is to prevent a later unit defect due to
unfavorable preconditions. The most frequent cases generally occur
due to heavy soiling or penetrating moisture.
1.3 Maintenance interval
We recommend performing maintenance every 12 months in order to
guarantee a long life span. With a heavier use, a maintenance
interval of 6 months is recommended.
