3. CONNECTION TO THE PLUMBING SYSTEM
• The connection to the plumbin system should be
made in accordance with the manufacturer’s in-
structions, by siutably qualifi ed personnel.
• The user should see to the installation of the
tap between the plumbing system and the unit
supply tubes which will cut off the water supply
when necessary.
• Before connecting the tubes, remove any rubber
lugs from the softener tap connections.
• Connect the tubes to the water inlet and outlet
tubes (A)(B) of the water softener.
• Screw fi rmly into place but without excessive
force, as this would risk the cracking of the con-
nection or taps.
• Connect the water discherge tube (F) directly to
an open syphon.
4. PERIODIC REGENERATION BY THE USER
CAUTION: It is suggested to regenerate when the machine is not being operated, so that the salt uses up
slowly regenerating completely the resin.
The interval time in the regeneration depends on the water hardness.
The regeneration should be carried out in accord-
ance with the following instructions:
• Move lever (C) and (D) from left to right as shown
in the fi gure 2. Remove the cover by unscrewing
the knob (G) and pour in the salt in the quantities
shown in table 1.
• Remove any residues of salt or resin from the
gasket on the cover.
• Replace the cover by screwing up knob (G) fi rmly
and move lever (C) from right to left as shown in
the fi gure 3.
• Let the salt water fl ow out of tube (F) untill it is
no longer salty (40 minutes approx.)
• Move lever (D) from right to left as shown in the
fi gure 3.
With a view to maintaining the perfect effi ciency of the water softener, manufacturer and seller recomend the
use of the form shown in the booklet for the entry of dates of regeneration carried out by the user.
