Der ONYX SILENT Motor verfügt über 2 Laufgeschwindigkeiten, die einfach über die
Bedienung (Handsender ONYX.CLICK oder Smartphone) aktiviert werden können.
Im Flüstermodus (langsame Laufgeschwindigkeit), Fahrprofi l SILENT, ist der Antrieb
kaum zu hören. Die Bewegungen sind optimal angepasst, sodass gerade beim
Anfahren und Stoppen auch wirklich alles schön leise bleibt. In Kombination mit
weiteren ONYX Komponenten (ONYX.CLICK, ONYX.CENTER, ONYX.WEATHER)
kann der SILENT Motor seine Vorteile voll ausspielen. Weiters besitzt der Motor einen
integrierten Behangschutz, sowie eine geräuschlose Softbremse.
Wird keine Funksteuerung benötigt, kann der ONYX SILENT Motor auch
kabelgebunden mit normalen Rollladenschaltern bedient werden.

Gewährleistung
Gewährleistungsansprüche unterliegen der gesetzlich defi nierten Verjährungsfrist.
Verschleißteile sind von der Gewährleistung ausgenommen, ebenso Farbveränderung
und Veränderungen der Eigenschaft bedingt durch UV-Strahlung.

Das Produkt ist für den Einsatz im Fassadenbau zum Antrieb von elektrisch
angetriebenen Rollläden vorgesehen. Bei Nichtbeachtung der in dieser Anleitung

Gebrauch oder bei Einsatz außerhalb des vorgesehenen Verwendungszwecks,

Errichten, Prüfen, Inbetriebnahme und Fehlerbehebung der Anlage darf nur von
einer autorisierten bzw. dafür ausgebildeten Fachkraft (lt. VDE 0100) durchgeführt
werden.

Bei Arbeiten an der Anlage schalten Sie alle Anschlussleitungen spannungs-
los! Es besteht Lebensgefahr! Treffen Sie Sicherheitsvorkehrungen gegen

Betriebsarten
Der Antrieb befi ndet sich bei der Auslieferung im Inbetriebnahmemodus, das
Erkennen und Einlernen der Endlagen erfolgt automatisch (Plug & Play) und wird
durch weitere Fahrten des Behangs automatisch abgeschlossen. Voraussetzung
ist die Verwendung von starren Wellenverbindern. Die korrekte Montage und der
Anschluss sind gemäß der Bedienungsanleitung zu beachten. Diese fi nden Sie im

Löschen der Endlagen
Das Löschen der Endlagen kann entweder im Funkbetrieb über die ONYX-App,
oder im kabelgebundenen Betrieb mit dem Montagekabel erfolgen (Behang in
Mittelposition fahren, anschließend beide Phasen L
p
und L
q
für 5 Sekunden
gleichzeitig bestromen). Anschließend befi ndet sich der Antrieb wieder im
Inbetriebnahmemodus. Das Löschen einer einzelnen Endlage ist nicht möglich, dies
geschieht immer paarweise (obere und untere Endlage gleichzeitig).
Konfi guration
Vor der Konfi guration von ONYX.MOTOR laden Sie sich die kostenlose App
ONYX von HELLA aus dem App Store/von Google Play auf Ihr Smartphone. Um
ONYX.MOTOR in Verbindung mit ONYX.CENTER oder ONYX.CLICK verwenden zu
können, muss sich ONYX.MOTOR im Funkbetrieb befi nden und in der App ONYX
hinzugefügt werden. Folgen Sie den Anweisungen in der App.
Entsorgung
Entsorgen Sie das Gerät nach den aktuellen Länderbestimmungen für Elektroschrott
(z.B. geeignete Sammelstellen).

EN – Short instructions
The ONYX SILENT motor is provided with 2 different speeds of rotation, which easily
can be activated via the operating device (hand-held radio transmitter ONYX.CLICK
or smart phone). In the whisper mode (low speed), motion profi le SILENT, the drive
is practically silent. The running performances are optimally adapted, so that all
remain quiet, especially when starting and stopping the movement of the curtain. In
combination with other ONYX components (ONYX.CLICK, ONYX.CENTER, ONYX.
WEATHER) the SILENT motor can show its strengths. Additionally, the motor is
provided with an integrated curtain protection and a noiseless soft break.
If no radio control is required, the HELLA SILENT motor can be operated wire-bound
with standard roller shutter switches.

from the warranty; the same applies for changes in colour and changes in

Operating modes
When delivered, the drive is in the setting-up mode, the detection and teaching-in
of the end positions is done automatically (Plug & Play) and is fi nished automatically
by a repeated raising and lowering of the curtain. Using rigid shaft connectors is
required in these cases. The correct installation and the connection must be carried
out in compliance with the operating instructions. You will fi nd these instructions in the
download area of our website.

Resetting the end positions
The resetting of the end positions can be done via the ONYX-app (radio operation), or
via the installation cable (wire-bound operation); move the curtain to an intermediate
position, then simultaneously supply both phases L
p
and L
q
with current (5 for
seconds). Now the drive is in the setting-up mode again. The resetting of a single end
position is not possible, this is always done in pairs (upper and lower end position
at the same time).
Confi guration
Before confi guring ONYX.MOTOR, download HELLA’s free app ONYX from the
App store / Google Play to your smart phone. Before you can use ONYX.MOTOR
in combination with ONYX.CENTER or ONYX.CLICK, ONYX.MOTOR must be in the
radio mode and must be added in the app ONYX. Follow the instructions in the app.
Disposal
Dispose of the device in accordance with the current country-specifi c regulations for
electronic scrap (e.g. suitable collecting points).
