• Do not fill or operate the BMA/BMB Tool with liquids
containing mineral oil.

Danger notices – brake fluid
Observe the following when handling brake fluid:
• Irritating to skin, eyes and respiratory system.
• In the event of contact with the eyes or skin, rinse
immediately with plenty of clean water.
• Seek medical attention immediately if brake fluid comes
into contact with the eyes or is swallowed.
• Use protective clothes, protective gloves and protective
goggles.
• Brake systems may be under (high) pressure.
• Always use suitable and compatible brake fluid. Follow
the instructions of the vehicle manufacturer.
• Never mix DOT 3, DOT 4 or DOT 5.1 (glycol-based) brake
fluid with DOT 5 (silicone-based).
• Brake fluid damages paint and plastic parts. Immediately
remove all brake fluid from paint and plastic parts.
• Brake fluid is hydroscopic and absorbs moisture.
Moisture in the brake system can lead to failure of the
brake system.
• Brake fluid must only be stored in sealed original
containers.
• Mop up any leaked brake fluid immediately using a cloth
and dispose of it in an environmentally friendly manner.
• Observe the data sheet and regulations of the brake fluid
manufacturer.
