6.13.4 Parameter Import

Parameter settings can be imported from a backup or from an export of a different
device (see
Chapter 6.13.3 Parameter Export on page 136).

If you want to keep the current network settings, then tick the
Preserve Network Sett-
tings
■
To start the upload click Start Parameter Import (Fig. 144 /2) and select the parameter
file (*.tar.gz) on the PC.
■
Follow the displayed instructions. After import, the device restarts and usually opens
up the user interface automatically to enable further configuration. Parameters sets
that were exported from older firmware releases will be automatically updated during
the import.
