– Filter maintenance
The filters must be regularly checked and replaced, if necessary, every six months or depending on the degree of
contamination.
The filters must be replaced for hygiene reasons after an operating period of 1 year at the latest.
7 .2 Clean the heat exchanger
1. Unhook panel (magnetic) upwards.
2. Unscrew and remove the screws in the unit door.

Risk of injury due to the high weight of the heat exchanger!
The heat exchanger can fall down and cause serious injuries when removed .
Carefully remove the heat exchanger from the unit with both hands .
3. Carefully remove the heat exchanger from the unit (see Fig. 37).
4. Clean the heat exchanger with a vacuum cleaner with a brush nozzle or with water.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents!
5. During installation, place the heat exchanger on the guide rail and push up to the stop. Ensure that the rubber lips
of the receptacle are not damaged!
The heat exchanger must be regularly inspected and cleaned annually or depending on the degree of contamination.
7 .3 Maintain and clean the ball siphon
– Maintain the ball siphon
The ball siphon must be regularly checked and cleaned, if necessary, every six months or depending on the degree of
contamination.
In case of maintenance measures, ensure that the ball siphon in the base tray of the unit is not blocked. This can be
checked by pouring a small amount of water into the siphon. If the ball siphon is blocked, it must be cleaned.
– Clean the ball siphon
Dismantle the ball siphon. Ensure that the float ball is not lost!
Remove and clean dirt with water.
Water must not get into the electrical parts!
Reassemble the ball siphon in reverse order (see section 4.1.2).
7 .4 Access to internal terminal box
Platinum damage due to electrostatic charge!
The electronic components are integrated in the units which can be destroyed by electrostatic discharge .
Only perform work on platinum with ESD protection .
The terminal box cover is located at the side, top of the unit. Depending on the installation situation, the silencer must
first be removed.
1. Remove panel.
2. Loosen screws in unit doors.
3. Remove unit doors.
