4 .1 Installation preparation
– WALL INSTALLATION SLEEVE

Length of wall installation sleeve

The length of the wall installation sleeve
ò
comprises the thickness of the unco-
vered wall with internal finished plaster
and the insertion depth in the soffit chan-
nel
ù
(see Fig. 4).
The length of the wall installation sleeve
should be adjusted so that there are no
collisions in the area of the shutter rail.
Observe installation instructions for
shutters and blinds! The shutter rail,
or the like, must pass by the soffit
grille .
It may be necessary to underlay
the soffit channel on site, if required .

Insertion depth of the wall installa-
tion sleeve in the soffit channel
Length: 20 mm
The wall installation sleeve must have
an overhang of 20 mm to the unfinished
wall. This serves as a connection for the
soffit channel.
The wall installation sleeve must not be
cut flush with the wall on the external
side of the wall!
Wall thickness of unfinished wall:
Min.: 280 mm
Max.: 480 mm

Height of plaster frame

The plaster frame height bridges the
clearance between the soffit channel
and soffit grille. The height should be
selected depending on the thickness of
the insulation of the window soffit and
finished plaster. The plaster frame allows
tolerance compensation.
A minimum height of 20 mm is recom-
mended for the plaster frame.

Insulation thickness
The soffit channel must be over-insu-
lated . It is not suitable for insulation
thicknesses

100 mm and must not
be installed in this case .
