III. SAFETY MEASURES
When you wish to use this electric device, please take into consideration the following
safety measures.

Read carefully this user manual and keep it for future reference.

Before use, verify if the voltage in the wall outlet corresponds with the one on
the identification plate, which is on the bottom of the machine.

Do not place the machine or its power cord in water or in other liquid, to avoid
the risk of electric shock.

Do not let children around the machine, when in use. Never let the machine
unattended while using it.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children), with
reduced physical, senory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge. The exception is when these persons are supervised and are given
instruction concerning the use of the device by a person responsable for their
safety.

Before installing or removing the appliance, please stop using it and unplug the
power cord.

Do not use the appliance if the power cord or its plug are damaged or
defective. In case the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified
person from the authorized service in accordance with the Certificate of
guarantee.

Other attachments or accessories that are not supplied by the manufacturer
are not recommended, because these may cause fire, electric shock or injury.

Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of the table or near hot surfaces.

Do not use this product in close proximity to a hot surface.

Do not use the power cord in a wrong way. Do not carry the appliance by
holding it by the power cord.

When using an extension cord with your product, please make sure that this
extension cord is wired and correctly used.

This product is intended exclusively for household use.

Do not try to repair this product yourself.

Before the first use, please wash the blade, strainers and the rest of the
accessories in warm water with dish detergent and after that clean them ony
with water.

Make sure that the switch of the appliance is in off position (OFF) before
introducing the plug into the outlet.

