UTENSILS
1. The ideal material to heat food in the microwave device must be transparent. This
material allows the energy to go through the container and to heat food.
2. Microwave can not penetrate metal. Therefore, please do not use metal utensils or
dishes with metal ornaments.
3. Do not use recycled paper products if you want to cook in the microwave as they may
contain small metal fragments which may cause sparks / smoke / flame.
4. For oval, round dishes we recommend placing them in the outside part of the plate.
5. Narrow strips of aluminum foil can be use to prevent very exposed areas to microwave
energy. Be careful not to use too much foil and keep a distance of 1 inch (2.54cm) between
foil and cavity.
