Making coffee with pre
‐
ground coffee beans:
1. Fill the tank: open the top cover by pushing the release button and
lifting up. Pouring the desired amount of water in the tank according to
the gauge located at the right of the tank.
2. Before operating, make sure the poke block is on the “
”position, it
will slide to the “
”position automatically after grinding. Before the
next operation, you must dial the poke block to the “
” position
manually again (see fig.4).
3. Dial one number of the count dial in anti
‐
clockwise for record the times
of using activated carbon before every operation (see fig.5). When the
number has achieved 30, it indicates you shall replace the activated
carbon.
4. Complete all the above steps, Close the top cover: Press down to lock.
The appliance is equipped with a safety interlock system. The details
refer to the section of “Trouble shooting”.
5. Draw out the funnel by pulling the funnel handle, place a paper filter or
itself permanent filter in the funnel.
Note: a permanent filter may allow some ground coffee to flow into carafe.
6. Add ground coffee to our permanent or paper filter. Our recipe
suggestion: Use 1 level scoop of ground coffee per cup. Adjust the
recipe according to your individual.
Note: The maximum capacity for ground coffee is 12 level scoops, using either
a paper or permanent filter. Exceeding that amount may cause overflow if the
coffee is too finely ground.
7. Place funnel cover in place, assemble the funnel into position by
pushing it.
8. Before brewing coffee: Maker sure you have replaced the carafe in its
position on the keeping warm plate.
9. Plug the cord into an electrical outlet. “12:00” will appear until you set
the time. Set the current clock according to the “Set the clock” section
on the above.
10. Press the “Grind off” button and the indicator above the button will be
illuminated. The appliance will omit the step of grinding bean and enter
the brewing operation once you press the On/Off button or the preset
time achieves.
11. Follow instructions 14 through 16 from the “Making coffee with coffee
beans” section.
