Newtonstein Corp. warrants to the original consumer purchaser
each new smoke alarm to be free from defects in material and
workmanship under normal use and service for a period of ten
years from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover
damage resulting from accident, misuse or abuse or lack of
reasonable care of the product. This warranty is in lieu of all other
express warranties, obligations or liabilities.
THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED TO A
PERIOD OF TEN YEARS FOR THE SMOKE ALARM FROM
PURCHASE DATE.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied
warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
IN NO CASE SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL
OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF THIS OR
A N Y O T H E R WA R R A N T Y, E X P R E S S O R I M P L I E D ,
WHATSOEVER, EVEN IF THE LOSS OR DAMAGE IS CAUSED
BY ITS NEGLIGENCE OR FAULT.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also
have other legal rights which vary from country to country. If
service is required, please contact local authorized distributors.
