The "Act Vac" display shows the time decrease to be set,
e.g. t_15, which in turn may be edited with the arrow keys.
Not needing the "decrease pressure "mode, select „t off“
with the arrow keys.
Return to actual value display.
Start and discontinue cycle:
start regulation, mode display shows "H1" (LED "MAN"
lighted)
Running a decrease ramp, time remaining will alternate with the "H1" mode display. At cycle end,
"END" will be displayed, valves are closed, and a buzzer sounds.
Depressing the "Man" key a second time during cycle, the item will run against final
vacuum. "PU" is displayed.
Discontinue regulation, aerate rotary evaporator.
7.3. Auto
Mode
In the automatic mode, first boil point ("bP": boiling point) is found automatically while decreasing
pressure.
For optimization, an automatic parameter is available (refer to Chapter 7.1). A low value selected
will go in hand with a high-sensitive automatic reaction. A value being too low, an early boil point
reaction may be the result. A value being too high may cause "overriding" boil point.
As in manual mode, a pressure decrease ramp may be entered (refer to Chapter 6.1), which is
used automatically after having detected the first boil point.
The following parameters may be selected:
-
nominal
(unimportant)
-
hysteresis (h), 1-100 mbar
-
differential pressure, decrease (d), 0-100 mbar
-
decrease time (t), toff (without) – 99 min
Enter parameters as described in Chapter 7.1.
