The electronics automatically switch off the motor prior to the battery being deep discharged.
Operate and charge the battery only within the battery operating-temperature range of 0 °C
–
45 °C (32 °F
– 113 °F). At the beginning of the charging procedure, the battery temperature must
be within the battery operating temperature range.
4.3 Spontaneous discharge
Charged batteries are subjected to spontaneous discharging at a rate which is governed by the
ambient temperature. This means that if they are stored for more than two months before use,
recharging will be necessary. The higher the temperature, the shorter this period. The lower the
temperature, the lower the rate of spontaneous discharge.
5 Maintenance
Always keep clean the electrical contacts at the battery and the saw. In case you need to clean
the battery, use a dry and dust - free cloth. Beyond, no maintenance is necessary.
If the battery´s output fades rapidly despite correct recharging, its operating lifetime is exhausted.
6 Storage
Store the battery at room temperature, dry, dust free and protected from sun rays. It is
recommended to keep the genuine packaging of the battery, to store it in when needed.
7 Environmental protection

Do not open the battery!

Faulty batteries must be recycled in accordance with directive
91/157/EWG.

Do not throw batteries away with the domestic waste, into fire or
water.
HEBU provides environment-friendly battery disposal:
Faulty batteries are fully recycled. They can be returned to the specialist dealer or the HEBU
customer service centre.
