14. Preparing Firebox for Non-Burn Season

a. Be sure the appliance is allowed to cool, has been
unplugged and the exhaust blower is off.

Remove all ash from the firebox and
vacuum thoroughly.

Paint all exposed steel, including cast-iron.

12. Cleaning Convection Blower - Requires No
Lubrication

been unplugged.

Follow the directions on page 21 for direct access
to the convection blower.
c. Sweep or vacuum out any build-up. Use a brush or
compressed air to loosen dirt if needed.
13. Cleaning the Top Vent Adapter

a. The appliance must be in complete shutdown
and the exhaust blower should be off. Allow the
appliance to completely cool down.
