Installing Air Deflectors
1. Air Deflector orientation is critical to proper installation.
With Air Deflector positioned properly, attach magnet as
shown. See Figure 14.
2. Bend mounting tab as show in Figure 14.

3. Position the wide end of the Air Deflector into the third
slot of Firebox Top, magnet should be facing up. See
Figure 16.

4. Slide Air Deflector to the first slot and rotate up 90°. Se
-
cure with (1) screw provided. See Figures 17 & 18.

5. Repeat steps 1 thru 4 for installation of the left Air De
-
flector.
Installing Speed Control
1. Install the Speed Control in the lower right corner of the
firebox or appliance, behind pull screen (if applicable).
See Figure 19 and 20.
2. Install Control Nut and Control Knob.

Note: When installed on the Idol series appliance, the Air
Deflectors need to be shortened. Break-off tabs are sup
-
plied to aide in the process. The magnet is then placed at
the end of the remaining deflector. See Figure 15.
