Instructions

IMPORTANT

a)

When using this unit, basic safety precautions as below should always be followed to avoid the risk of
electric shock or personal injury.

b)

Do not use in an environment that is damp, wet, very hot or very cold.

c)

To clean the clock and its accessories, use only a soft cloth and an inorganic cleaner.

d)

Install the unit securely on a stable surface and install the unit where the power cord will not be
subject to damage or cause a tripping hazard.

e)

The unit may get warm when being used; ensure the unit has adequate ventilation.

f)

Only use the Hearing Products approved mains adapter. Do not use any other type of mains adapter.

g)

Always use the correct drycell (commonly known as battery).

h)

9V drycell not included.

i)

Never use an old drycell.

j)

Dispose of old drycells in an environmentally friendly way.

Battery Backup

PLEASE NOTE....that the alarm can only be used when the mains power adapter is plugged in and power 
is switched on.  The 9V drycell (not included) can be used to hold the time and alarm settings should there 
be a mains power failure.  The clock will operate perfectly well with just the mains power adapter and 
without the 9v drycell (not included).  The 9v drycell (not included) is only if you want backup.

1 x Vibrator unit
1 x Mains power adapter 9V DC 800mA Positive Centre

Set up Procedure

1)

Remove the cover from the drycell compartment.

2)

Place 9V Drycell correctly in the compartment (not included).

3)

Replace the cover securely.

4)

Plug the mains power adapter into the wall socket and
plug the jackplug at the end of the power lead into the 
socket on the lead from the rear of the DigiWake.

5)

Plug the vibrator into the socket on the lead from the rear
of the clock and place the vibrator under the pillow.

When the clock is first plugged in, the display will blink on and off meaning the correct time needs to be set.

If the clock is set for 12 hour mode and you wish to set the time to PM, the clock PM indicator should be lit. 
When it is off, it indicates 'AM'.  Unless using the 24 hour clock.

To alter between 12 and 24 hour display you will need to flick the switch which is located in the battery 
compartment.

When the alarm indicator is on the alarm will sound at the set time.

Set Time

PLEASE NOTE....that the clock will be set to 24 hour mode on delivery (not 12 hour mode)

1. Press the time button and the hour button at the same time until the correct hour time is displayed.
2. Release the hour and press the Minute button (still pressing the time button) until the correct minute

time is displayed.

3. If you are in 12 hour mode, ensure you set correctly for AM (indicator will not be lit) or PM (indicator

will be lit).

To Set the Alarm

1.

Press and hold the Alarm button and the hour button at the same time until required Alarm hour
is displayed.

2.

Release the hour button and press the Minute button ( still pressing the Alarm button) until the
correct Alarm minute is displayed.

3.

Be sure to select AM/PM correctly, unless using the 24 hour clock.

To Operate the Alarm

Slide the Alarm On/Off switch to On Position.  The alarm will then sound at the set time.

Snooze

When the snooze button is depressed, the snooze button gives 8-9 minute snooze.

Hi-Low Dimmer Switch

If more intense display is preferred, slide the dimmer HI/LOW switch to the 'HI' position.  If less intense 
display is desired, slide the Dimmer HI/LOW switch to the 'LOW' position.
