Grounding concept (Greenline)
The cable shield of the connection cable is connected to the housing of the
transducer. This encloses the measurement system in a Faraday cage. Any
electromagnetic interference active here does not affect the measurement sig
nal. In the event of interference due to potential differences (equalization cur
rents) the zero operating voltage and the housing ground should be isolated
from one another at the amplifier and a potential equalization line should be run
between the housing and the amplifier housing (flexible stranded wire, 10 mm
2
conductor cross‐section).

Recommendations for measuring mode
The prerequisites for optimum measurement results when being used as a
transfer or reference transducer are:
S
Precision amplifier
S
Connection and if necessary cable extensions in six-wire circuitry
Neither the amplifier nor the accessories (such as the connecting cable) can be
replaced with just anything.
Especially when measuring dynamic torques, please note the following:
S
Use amplifiers that are able to map the dynamic response (e.g. not a low
carrier frequency, low-pass filters with a high cut-off frequency available).
S
Note signal transit times, in conjunction with the selected filter settings as
well.
