Max.: Here you can specify the maximum correction (±Max.) during optimization. This
limits the values resulting from the table. With 0 there is no limit.
Minimum fine flow: The value determines how close the coarse flow cutoff point can be
taken to the fine flow cutoff point. This means that when the fill material has pieces, you
can set the coarse flow to fine flow interval in such a way that fine flow will run in all
cases. When the fill material has pieces, set the minimum fine flow amount setting to
slightly more than the heaviest piece.
Simulation
Information
You must have specified at least the target weight, fine flow pre-act and residual flow
time (Validation), as well as a filter, before values are displayed.
By default, all values here are 0, and you see a simulated measurement curve. The coarse
flow is activated for one second; the fine flow for one second plus residual flow time. 10%
of the target weight is used as the empty weight. If you change values after a
measurement, this curve is displayed again. As soon as you take a measurement, your
measured value readings are displayed.
Once you have determined the relevant values for your operation, you can also use them
in the simulation. This will make the simulated curve very similar to your measured
values.
Empty weight: Simulates the empty weight before a tare.
Coarse and fine flow rate: Enter the values for your process here so that the simulated
curve is as close as possible to reality.

Fieldbus
As of firmware version 2.0, the DSE has two fieldbus systems: PROFINET
®
and
EtherCAT
®1)
. The connection via fieldbus is independent of the Ethernet connection. Both
can run in parallel. The last setting made is always active however. Neither connection
has priority.
Select here whether you want to use a fieldbus, and if so which one, and set the
necessary parameters for Ethernet or PROFINET as appropriate. There is no prioritization
of access options: If you change parameters, the last change made always applies,
regardless of the interface via which it was made.
