C2 REPLACING PRESSURE SEAL
TOOLS

1× 7/16 Box Wrench
»
2× 3/4 Box and/or Socket Wrench
»
1× Pliers
PARTS REQUIRED
»
1× Replacement Gasket
»
1× Hawkeye Severe Service Grease

If leaving the weight plates installed on the lever arm
make it too difficult to lift or maneuver, remove the
weight plates by removing the weight retention nut and
washer. Otherwise the seal can be replaced without
removing the weight plates by proceeding to step 4.

Remove the EPRV lever arm hinge pin with the pair of
pliers.

Remove the lever arm and pallet assembly and flip
over for access to the seal.

Remove the seal retention bolt, washer and plate with
the 7/16 box wrench.

Replace the old seal with the new seal.

Reinstall the seal retention plate washer and bolt.
Tighten the bolt until the seal retention plate contacts
the EPRV lid. Tighten snug.

Grease the seal face with Hawkeye Severe Service
Grease.
8
Reassemble the EPRV and return to service.
