FOCUSING YOUR MONOCULAR
Rotate the focusing wheel until the image in the eyepiece appears sharp.
TWIST-UP EYE CUP (10x50 MODEL)
Eyeglass users will normally need the eye cup twisted down. Users not wearing eyeglasses should
adjust the eye cup upwards for optimum eye relief.
CARING FOR YOUR MONOCULAR
• Keep lens covers on the monocular when not in use.
• When cleaning the lenses, use the lens cloth that comes with the monocular, or a soft, lintless
cloth.
• To remove dirt, add one or two drops of isopropyl alcohol to the cloth.
• Store your monocular in a moisture-free area.
• Never attempt to clean your monocular internally or try to take it apart.
• Your monocular is fog and waterproof in normal weather conditions, but is not designed to be
immersed in water.

Subject to the limitations noted below, Hawke guarantees this product to be free of defects in
materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the original owner. (The warranty is legally limited
to 10 years within Europe.) If your Hawke product is found to have defects in materials or
workmanship, we will repair or, if repair is not possible, replace the product with an equivalent.
The warranty does not cover failure caused by abuse or excessive wear and tear even within the
warranty period.
