When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always 
be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric hazard and injury to persons,  
including the following.

 

– Read all instructions.

 

– Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.

 

– To protect against electrical shock, do not place this unit in water or 

other liquid. See instructions for cleaning.

 

– Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near  

children.

 

– Do not use appliance unattended.

 

– Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.  

 

– Allow cooling before cleaning the appliance.

 

– Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the  

appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return  
appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair  
or adjustment.

 

– To reduce the risk of injury, use accessory attachments only if 

recommended by the appliance manufacturer.

 

– Do not use outdoors or while standing in a damp area.

 

– Do not let cord hand over edge of table or counter, or touch hot 

surfaces.

 

– Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric stove, or in a heated oven

 

– Extreme caution must be using when moving the appliance containing 

hot liquid.

 

– Only use the appliance as intended.

 

– The piercing pin is very sharp; use extreme caution.

 

– This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)  

with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capacities, or lack of 
experience  and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or 
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for 
their safety. 

Safety Measures

The appliance should not be used when:
-  Cable is damaged
-  The appliance can be visually seen damaged
-  The appliance has been dropped onto the floor,  
  even if visible damage is not seen 
Do not use the appliance except as stated in this manual.
