3.5 airgliDe rail OperatiOn

3.5.1   raising the rail

refer to Figures 3-11a & 3-11B. grasp rail  
top tube from under litter top firmly. then  
pull up until rail locks into full up position.

nOte: Verify latching of rail before leaving patient unattended.

3.5.2   lowering the rail

Firmly grasp top of rail, pull out on red tab 
located under litter top at foot or head end 
(Figure 3-12). lower side rail completely under 
litter top.
