MOUNTING A SAW
EXTENSIONS AND ROLLERS
STORING YOUR STAND
To save space, your stand can be stored vertically with the mitre saw attached.
1. Release the
Extension Brace Locking Knobs.
2. Slide in the
Extension Braces
.
3. Re-tighten the
Extension Brace Locking Knobs
.
4. Lower the stand to the fully collapsed position.
5. Use the
Handle
to tip the stand onto the
Storage Support
.
WARNING!
: Be sure to store the stand in a place where it will not be
knocked over. Failure to do so may result in the stand falling and causing
personal injury and/or damage to equipment.
1. Loosen the
Extension Locking Knob
. There is one for each end.
2. Pull on the
Extension Brace
until the desired support length is reached
or you hear a ‘click’, meaning the
Spring Lock Pin
(
#40 in the schematic
drawing
) has engaged.
3. Tighten the
Extension Locking Knobs
to secure the
Extension Braces
in
place.
4. To return the
Extension Braces
to their original positions, press the
Spring Lock Pin
located on the inside of the innermost rails and push
against the extensions.
The Extension Rollers can be raised or lowered according to necessity,
normally to match the level of the saw’s cutting table.
1. Loosen the
Roller Height Locking Knob
at the end of one extension.
2. Grasp the
Extension Roller
and pull it up to the desired height.
3. Re-tighten the
Roller Height Locking Knob.
4. Repeat for the other roller.
NOTE
: If you use fasteners other than the supplied ones to mount your saw,
we recommend that you use lock washers or locknuts to ensure that the saw
stays securely tightened during operation.
CAUTION:
Before operation, ensure that the mitre saw is fastened
securely to the stand to prevent unwanted movement of the saw.
