When unpacking, make sure that the item is intact and undamaged.   

 

If any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at  

 

the number shown on the cover of this manual as soon as possible.

OperatiON

        Your Cable Winch Puller is designed to be used for dead loads 

ONly

.   

        Do not use your Cable Puller for any type of lifting operation.

Inspect the CABLE (9) along its full length for any frays, kinks or damage.

1. 

Identify the Anchor Point and Load that you will connect your Cable Puller to.  

2. 

Make sure the Anchor Point and Load are within approximately 5’ of each other.

Do not wrap CABLE around the Anchor Point and hook it back on itself.

• 

Do not operate with CABLE completely unwrapped from the RATCHET (5).   

• 

The RATCHET must have at least 5 full turns of CABLE around Drum at all times.

Connect the Anchor HOOK (1) to the Anchor Point.  Make sure the Safety Latch

of the Anchor HOOK closes completely after it is attached to the Anchor Point.

Squeeze the STOP PAWL TRIGGER (4) as shown in Figure 1 above.

This will allow you to pull the cable out to reach the load.   

Release the STOP PAWL.
Connect the LOAD HOOK (12) to the load you will be pulling.   

5. 

Read the following before proceeding to step 6:

Make sure that load is rated within cable puller capacity.
