OPERATION
General
Use the following procedures to operate the GLO
MAX
®
Heated
Display Case.
WARNING

INFORMATION section before operating this equipment.
GMHD-2PT Models
Startup
1. Plug the unit into a properly grounded electrical receptacle
of the correct voltage, size, and plug configuration. See
the SPECIFICATIONS section for details.
2. For humidity, fill the water pan with water.
• Periodically check the water level in the water pan to
ensure constant humidity inside the unit. If the water
level is low, refill the water pan.
• If humidity is not desired, leave the water pan empty.
3. Move the Power I/O (on/off) switch to the I (on) position.
4. Turn the heat control knob to the desired temperature
setting. The temperature range is from 28°C (82°F) to 85°C
(185°F).
5. Allow unit 30 minutes to reach operating temperature.
Shutdown
Perform the following steps for shutdown of all models.
1. Move the Power I/O (on/off) switch on the base to the O
(off) position.
2. Perform the “Daily Cleaning” procedure in the
MAINTENANCE section of this manual.
