•  Use a wall outlet located near the equipment. Do not route the power cord between pieces of furniture or over sharp edges.
•  Make sure there is no strain on the power supply cord.
•  Avoid using outlets controlled by wall switches or share by other equipment.

•  Do not use this product on a wet floor or near water.
•  In the case of liquid spillage, disconnect the external power supply from the wall outlet prior to cleaning.

•  To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury to persons, follow normal and basic safety precautions for office equipment when using your IM280 iMeter™.
•  To avoid equipment damage, only use approved supplies (ink, tapes, cleaners...).

•  When lifting covers, wait for all parts to stop moving before placing hands near the ink cartridge assembly.
•  When changing internal (ink, postage meter...), avoid using too much force to prevent personal injury or damaging equipment. 
•  To prevent overheating, do not block the equipment ventilation openings.
•  Do not remove bolted covers as they enclose potentially hazardous parts that should only be accessed by a Service Representative.

•  Power is supplied to the unit when it is connected to an electrical outlet, even if the unit is turned off or in sleep mode.
•  Disconnect the wall plug to remove power from the unit.
•  DO NOT make any changes or modifications to this equipment.
•  Use only the Neopost/Hasler supplied USB, Internet/LAN, or modem cables.
•  This equipment is NOT user-serviceable. If you have any problems with the equipment contact customer service.
•  If you have alarm equipment connected to the telephone line, check first with the telephone company or a qualified installer to confirm that connection of this 

equipment to your telephone line does not disable the alarm equipment.

•  Temperature range: 50°F - 104°F (10°C - 40°C).
•  Relative humidity: 80% maximum without condensation.

The IM280 iMeter™ contains moving parts. Keep fingers, long hair, neck ties, and loose clothing away from the mail path at all times.
