INFO: ACCEPTANCE AND APPROVAL
Before initial operation the stove must be accepted and approved:
► Operate your stove only when the responsible
chimney sweep accepted and approved it.
INFO: INITIAL LIGHTING
The following notes are only for initial operation of your stove:
► Before initial operation check the fire box for items like
starter kit, manuals,... . Remove all items before initial lighting.
►
During shipment, condensation moisture can accumulate in
the stove’s interior, which may possibly lead to the appearance
of condensation or water on the stove or flue pipes.
Please dry off these damp areas immediately.
► Heat your stove with a higher combustion temperature for
4-5 hours increasing the fuel quantity recommended by
approximately 25% (see chapter “6.5.4 Amount to add for
heating” in the operating instructions).
►
Make sure the room is well-ventilated, because odour
from coating, sealing strips and lubricants can occur.
► Do not stay longer in the affected rooms than necessary.
►
Read the operating instructions prior to initial operation.
Initial operation
WARNING: ELECTRIC SHOCK
Connecting the controller under the stove to a 230 Volt mains socket can result in
electric shock due to contact with the stove:
► Do not connect your stove to a 230 Volt mains socket under the
stove.
►
The connection under the stove must be a USB connection
with max. 5 Volt.
The controller detects all operating states and automatically configures
the required settings.
The stove cannot be operated manually without the controller.
Switching on the controller:
►
Connect the USB-C cable to the socket on the stove
and the mains plug (Fig. 1).
►
Connect the mains plug to the mains (Fig. 1).
►
Open the service door.
►
Set the switch on the control panel to “On” (Fig. 2).
When the power light lights up blue, the controller is ready.
