LET’S PLAY!
All players stand in a circle! The last person who petted a dog goes first!
The game begins when the first player starts petting the pup. Play
continues to the left.
ON YOUR TURN:
1.
Hold the pup in one hand so he’s facing you, then use
your other hand to pet the entire brown patch of
hair on his head from front to back as shown.
2.
Keep petting the pup until he barks three times.
That’s your signal to pass him to the next player!
(He might make other sounds, such as a hiccup
or a whimper, but those don’t count. Keep petting
until you hear “Ruff! Ruff! Ruff!”)
3.
If the pup
does not pee
while you’re holding
him, you’re safe, and it’s the next player’s turn.
If he
does pee,
you’re out, and you must reset
the pup so the remaining players can continue.
To
reset the pup
, press down firmly on his tail
and release.
WIN!
Continue to take turns petting and passing the pup until only one person
is left. The only player not to get peed on by the pup wins!
DONE PLAYING?
1. Open the dog tag on the pup’s body and pour out all the water.
2. To ensure that no water remains inside the pup, press down firmly
on his tail and release, then press his tongue once. (Repeat this entire
step, in the order described, until water stops spraying out of the tiny
hole on the front of the pup’s body.)
3. Let the pup dry thoroughly before replacing the dog tag.
NOTE:
The game shuts down after one minute of
inactivity. To turn off the game manually, press down
firmly on the pup’s tail and hold for two seconds.
Watch out!
If you accidentally press the
pup’s tongue and water sprays, you’re out!
