TO AVOID DAMAGING THE AIRCRAFT
COWLING, THE SCREWS MUST NOT
EXTEND MORE THAN THREE THREADS
PAST THE BULKHEAD NUTPLATES.
(3) Attach the spinner dome to the spinner bulkhead or
to the adapter ring with the supplied screws and washers.
Refer to Table 3-5.
(a) When the spinner dome has been removed during
maintenance, examine the fit of the spinner forward
bulkhead to the cylinder.
(b) If the spinner dome loosens in service, add one or
more layers of UHMW tape to the cylinder until the
spinner dome fits snugly.
8. Post-Installation Checks
A. Perform Static RPM Check as outlined in the Testing and
Troubleshooting chapter in this manual.
