erent opinions about whether the rice should be washed
before cooking or not. Those in favour argue that this washes away the
starch content and ensures non-s

cky grains. Those against, feel valuable
soluble vitamins and minerals are lost. Drier,

er rice is obtained by
washing before cooking.
3. If other ingredients were added to the rice, the keep warm-cycle should
be on for less than one hour to avoid loss of
