Operation
1. Open the top cover and
fi
ll the water tank with cold drinking water
Note:
Do not
fi
ll water tank with water to exceed max level as indicated on
water gauge. The appliance can brew max 12 cups of
coffe
e every brewing
cycle.
2. Place the funnel into funnel holder and make sure the funnel is assembled
in place, and then put the
filt
er into funnel correctly.
3. Add proper
coff
ee powder into
filter.
Usually a cup of
coff
ee need a level
spoon of
coff
ee powder, but you may adjust according to personal taste, and
then close the top lid.
4. Insert glass carafe with lid in place onto warming plate horizontally, ensure
center line of carafe aligns with that of funnel.
5. Plug the unit into an outlet.
6. Press switch to the “I” po
sition,
the indicator in it will be illuminated and
the appliance will begin working. The brewing process can be interrupted by
pressing the switch to the “0” posi
ti
on at any
ti
me and the indicator in it will
go
off
,
indicating
your co
ff
ee maker is
off
. Once the switch is pressed again to
the “I” posi
ti
on, the appliance will
continue
to brew.
Note
: the appliance is designed with a pause-and-serve feature, if you wish, at
any
ti
me during brewing cycle, you can temporarily remove carafe to pour
and serve a cup of hot c
off
ee. The brewing cycle will not be interrupted and
no
coff
ee will drip from the appliance, simply replace glass carafe onto
warming plate to restart the brewing cycle, but do not remove glass carafe for
longer than 30s, never return empty carafe onto warming plate when it is
sti
ll
warm.
7. Remove carafe to serve when
finis
h brewing
Note
: the
coff
ee you get will be less than the water you have added as some
water is absorbed by
coff
ee powder.
Caution
: When pour c
off
ee, the momentary inclined angle of carafe shall not
be more than 45 degree from the ver
ti
cal posi
ti
on, you shall pour the
coff
ee
slowly
until
the carafe is empty, otherwise the
coff
ee in the carafe will rush to
the
bottom
of carafe lid, and the
coff
ee will
fl
ow out from two edges of lid
and hurt person!
8.
After
brewing, the appliance will auto
matically
switch to the keep warm
mode, which will
continue
to keep your
coffe
e warm
until
you turn
off
the
appliance. It is suggested that warming
ti
me shall be not more than 1 hour.
For an op
ti
mum
coff
ee taste, serve it just
after
brewing.
9. Always turn the
coff
ee maker
off
and unplug the appliance when not in use.
