4.4 Setup via HLP 4200WD Display
This section provides instructions for setting up the PWL 4100S via the push
buttons and LCD display of the HLP 4200WD equipment platform. To quickly
and easily set up and review the PWL 4100S monitoring and control
parameters, use the HLP 4200WD front panel. For a detailed description of
this interface, see Section
3.1 HLP 4200WD Display on page 3-2.
4.4.1 Step-by-Step Setup Instructions
1. Verify that the PWL 4100S module is properly installed in the HLP 4200
platform. Instructions are provided in Section 2.2 Installing the Transmitter
Module on page 2-1.
2. Verify that the HLP 4200WD is powered on and that no alarm conditions
exist within the transmitter module; make sure that the Status LED on the
front panel is green.
3. Verify that the RF input level per analog carrier is within the range of 15 to
22 dBmV/channel based on 80 NTSC channels.
4. Verify that the RF input signal has been properly connected to the
transmitter. See Section 2.4 Connecting the RF Broadband Input on page 2-4.
5. On the HLP 4200WD, press the
Esc
button until the display reads
