Cabling ProStream 9100
Power Connector
The device is supplied with a special DC power connector plug that matches the DC power
socket on the back of the device.
This connector is made by WAGO, model number 231-103/037-000.
Use only the original connector for connecting the device to the DC power source. Contact
Harmonic Technical Support if you want to use any other type of connector.

Assembling the DC Input Power Cable
To assemble the DC input power cable:
1.
Prepare the power wires as specified in
.
2.
Use the disconnect device to make sure that the power supply from the DC power source to
the cables is switched off.
CAUTION:
Turn off the power before proceeding with these instructions.
3.
Unplug the WAGO power connector from the power socket on the back panel of the device.
4.
Identify the three wires coming from the DC power source that are used in the connection to
the expansion unit:
-Vin
+Vin
GND
Cable type
Must comply with at least one of the following standards:
UL 1581 (VW-1) - UL style 1028 or equivalent
EEE 383
EEE 1202-1991
Branch circuit cable insulation
color
Per applicable national electrical codes
Grounding cable color
Green-yellow
