5.2 Fuse
Encoders with an AC power supply use a slow blow 4.0 A, 250 V fuse, 5 x 20 mm. The fuse
is located on the back panel beside the power input. A spare fuse is located in the fuse cover,
shown in Figure 5-3.

5.2.1
Replacing the Fuse
To replace the fuse:
1.
Unplug the power cord from the chassis.
DANGER:
You must disconnect the power cord before removing the fuse.
2.
Pull down the fuse cover on the back panel.
3.
Remove the old fuse.
4.
Install the new fuse.
DANGER:
Always replace the fuse with a fuse of the same rating and type. Using a different fuse voids
the Harmonic warranty and could result in fire or other electrical damage.
5.
Replace the fuse cover.
6.
Plug in the encoder.
