Troubleshooting
SECTION 2 : INSTALLER
PROBLEM
Lifting tower operates in reverse.
Cause
Button was held too long and unwound the
lifting strap.
Like a yo-yo, the lifting strap wound in reverse.
SOLUTION
Press whichever button extends strap and continue
to hold until strap returns to proper direction.
PROBLEM
Lift rattles while driving.
CAUSE
Platform is not ‘docked.’
SOLUTION
Be sure to press ‘IN’ button until platform is fully
engaged in its locking mechanism.
Check rear limit switch. Be sure lift is backing all
the way into the vehicle.
PROBLEM
Scooter/ chair tips to the front or back while
being lifted.
CAUSE
Platform is leaning to one side more than
the other.
SOLUTION
Adjust position of chair or scooter on platform.
In some cases, a scooter plate can be added to
the platform to allow more ofset.
