3.4.2 Ethernet Communications

The rear panel of HI6800 Application Controllers have dual-port Ethernet interfaces that

connect to local Intranet, Extranet, VPN, or Internet (World Wide Web). Both ports support

EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP/IP protocols.
Future support for OPC Unified Architecture (

OPC UA

) is under development.
