Computer Clean Power
Requirement
•
Good earth ground close to the equipment.
•
All equipment grounds are to a common point.
•
All piping is grounded to the tank to reduce static discharge of
material during filling and dispensing operation.
•
Install ground straps to by-pass the load cells.
•
Install active filters to trap power transients and AC noise. (See Fig.
3-34)

Installing the Secure
Memory Module
Step 1. When replacing an HI 2160RC
PLUS
controller or adding a con-
troller with the same operating parameters, transferring the
Secure Memory Module (SMM) from the existing controller
is a fast way to calibrate and setup a new instrument. The user
should make a back up SMM when setting the operating
parameters for the original equipment.
Step 2. Make sure that the module has the notch facing up. (See Fig.
3-35)
Step 3. Slide the module with the notch up into the module housing.
Step 4. Press the module in until it stops.
Step 5. To remove the module pull the module straight out of the
housing. (See Fig. 3-36)
