6. Installing the Equipment 

 

 

IF THE ROTISSERIE IS TO BE PERMANENTLY CONNECTED INTO THE FACILITY, IT MUST BE 
SECURED  BY  THE  RESTRAINING  CABLE  DEVICE  AVAILABLE  FROM  HARDT  (P/N  4963  AND 
P/N 7634), AS OUTLINED BELOW: 

 

1. 

Locate  the  ¼”  (6.5  mm)  hole 
on  the  underside  of  the 
rotisserie  as  shown  in  Figure 
6-5. 

2.  Place  the  hex  nut  and  one 

washer  onto  the  eyebolt.  
Slide  the  eyebolt  through  the 
hole  and  place  the  other 
washer and the nylon lock nut 
onto  the  eyebolt.    Tighten 
securely using a tool. 

3.  Attach the staple bracket to a 

secure  anchoring  structure  in 
the  facility  (i.e.,  a  stud  in  the 
wall)  by  using  the  supplied 
four  1.0

”  (25.5  mm)  #10 

screws 

and 

anchors 

if 

needed. 

4.  Use 

the 

2 

threaded 

connectors  to attach  one  end 
of the restraining cable to the 
mounting  bracket  and  the 
other  to  the  eyebolt. 

Tighten 

threaded 

connector 

securely 

using 

an

Use only threaded 
connectors.  Discard the 
quick release connectors if 
they are included in the 
supplied kit as shown in 
Figure 6-6.
